Showers of Blessings

TESTIMONIALS

Over the past several years we have endured many tragedies, including famine, drought, torrential rain, crop failure,.and many deaths attributed to Malaria and Typhoid. In spite of all the bruises the village people of Lusenke Kayunga area have suffered they remain faithful Christians, deeply dedicated to the suffering siblings of village life. With mounds of catastrophe at hand the Saints of East Africa endure with stalwart faith in God.

With the persistent onslaught from hell, they are quick to smile, laugh, even while laboring to rebuild their devastated communities. This is an attempt to chronicle their faith and tempered steel strength.

Dad,

I am so glad again to let you know that the foundation work has resumed and is moving well.

I was able to buy the materials we needed for the work although engineer's estimated calculation was not accurate, which puts us still in need for few more materials in order to finish up the work.  He came with his crew yesterday morning and the work started right away as more materials continues to come in. Because I went to the money gram office yesterday morning to pick up the funds and ordered for more materials as I also took some bags of cement using my boda-boda. Today the work went on in high gear.  By Friday this week we would be done with the whole foundation work if we had everything we need. After using up the materials which we now have on site, the remaining a small one to finish up with. The weather is still good and looks like the internet connection is getting better. I can attach photos easily now. Me, my family and the church family including the whole Lusenke community are so happy and grateful this special gift which God is giving to us. May the lord reward you greatly this dad. No special word I can think of to thank you enough. Please thank Lynette so much for us. Son Bishop/Pastor Bita James Oloo

The amazing interlocking “Bita Brick maker”. This amazing machine was purchased by NTFI a number of years ago from the Makiga Company in Nairobi Kenya. It presses one brick at a time and with a well trained crew can produce 600 bricks per day. These are interlocking bricks as you can see in the photo below. They stack just like the children’s toy called “Lego”. You may see Bita Brick projects throughout this website. We named this machine after the man below Bishop /Pastor Bita below in photo.
